I'm glad and grateful that you took a chance on me, even despite my anxiety and misgivings at the beginning. Doing what I had to do to save your life was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, and I regret that we still ended up losing you afterward. Even though you'll never know it, you helped me find my place in the sun, and I'll forever be in your debt for it.
