OOC: CR chart for Kaylee Frye at thoughtformed
This is a character relationships (CR) post for Kaylee at thoughtformed.
SPECIAL
Shepard (John Shepard, Mass Effect) - Though Kaylee would hesitate to describe him this way aloud, Shepard has become her surrogate Mal. She feels just a little more reassured and self-assured whenever he's around during her toughest times. They began dating in June of 2012, and while Kaylee doesn't get to see him as much as she'd like to, she regularly gets sexed and is generally happy with him.
Kyon (Kyon, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) - Kyon was one of the first people to reach out to Kaylee after Simon and Luki's disappearance, and she has since become quite attached to him.
Cap'n Kate (Kate Beckett, Castle) - Something in Kate's manner, strength, and confident way of carrying herself reminds Kaylee of Zoe. She latched onto the older woman after they were briefly on the same pirate crew during a bout of island weirdness, and has since begun to think of her as a sibling (and even calls her jiejie, Chinese for "older sister").
Aisling (Aisling, The Secret of Kells) - Kaylee and Aisling developed a good friendship very quickly after Simon and Luki vanished, and the fact that Aisling reached out to her despite being a stranger touched Kaylee deeply.

Victor (Victor Mancha, Runaways) - One of Kaylee's first friends. Thinks it's awesome that he's a robot, and would love to get a look at his inner workings some day, but would never dare ask.
Tavros (Tavros Nitram, Homestuck) - An all-around nice guy, Kaylee likes him for his general upbeat attitude, which is very similar to her own.
Zim/His Greenness (Zim, Invader Zim) - Zim tries SO HARD to be badass and unafraid, darn it, and Kaylee just can't help but like him. She wonders if, somewhere deep, deep down inside, he's not actually a nice person and endeavors to find out.
Rose (Rose Hathaway, Vampire Diaries)
Professor Xavier (Charles Xavier, X-Men First Class) - Professor X is always very kind to Kaylee whenever she's down, and she finds herself wanting to help whenever he's going through a rough time, as well.

NEGATIVE
Rudy (Rudy Wade, Misfits) - Congratulations, Rudy, you are one of the few people to make it on Kaylee's shit list. She finds him to be rude and just generally unpleasant.
Lau (Lau, Kuroshitsuji) - Lau ended up in the negative category for hiring poor Tavros as a coat rack and acting like this was a natural choice for the poor troll.
DEPARTED
Simon (Simon Tam, Firefly) - As always, Simon and Kaylee's relationship was complicated and sometimes difficult. They began dating in secret, but never had the opportunity to make it public knowledge before he disappeared in March 2012. When he made a brief reappearance in June 2012, it stalled Kaylee's budding potential relationship with Shepard; while Simon ultimately understood her decision and told her so before he vanished again, Kaylee still harbors feelings for him and both hopes to see him and that he never shows up so she doesn't have to face that she may have damaged their relationship beyond repair.
Luki (Luki, DOGS: Bullets & Carnage) - Kaylee's first housemate, who immediately latched onto her as an older sister. Kaylee tried her best to be a good caretaker and big sister, despite never having had any siblings before, and was totally crushed when Luki vanished in March 2012.
Ryoji (Mochizuki Ryoji, Persona) - Ryoji was probably one of the sweetest people Kaylee ever spoke to. She still has a stuffed llama he won for her from a crane game.
